Abi Alsop, 25, based in Manchester. Abi works for the NHS as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist. Abi completed an internship year with Christian Aid and developed a passion for following the Biblical call to social justice. Abi then went on to study at the University of Manchester, and was a founding member of Just Love Manchester. Abi is now a Just Love alumni – pursuing God’s heart for justice in her career and personal life. Abi regularly preaches and leads worship at her church, and is currently supporting her church community to think about creation care teaching and action. During the Covid-19 lockdowns Abi took part in Tearfund’s Emerging Influencers programme. She started The Justice Studio – bringing together a collective of artists and auctioning art work via social media, raising nearly £2,000 for Tearfund. Abi is passionate about talking to people about Jesus and justice, and helping others to see caring for the poor and creation as an integral part of discipleship.
