Anna lives in Manta, Ecuador, where she works in church-based community development. She has a BA in Cultural Anthropology and a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton College, Illinois, USA. She is a dual citizen of Ecuador and the USA and has spent her life as a chameleon transitioning between the two cultures and countries. Anna has worked with the Bonsai After-School Program since 2017, coming alongside families in need in the areas of education, advocacy, and children’s spiritual and emotional development. Her particular interests include the theology and practice of integral mission, abuse prevention, and promoting the participation of children in community and church life and decision making.
