Bonté Uwimana

Bonté Uwimana is 21 and currently living in Glasgow where she’s finishing up her undergraduate degree in politics and International Relations. Bonté has lived in Scotland for the majority of her life but spent her first couple of years living in Burundi with her parents who ran an orphanage for child victims of the Rwandan genocide. Bonté’s parents have demonstrated a life-long pursuit of justice with a particular focus on vulnerable children and adults which has led her down a very similar path of passions. God has particularly given Bonté a heart for the prevention of FGM and similar injustices that impact vulnerable women and children.
